An infrared (IR) remote switch is a type of switch that allows users to turn another device on or off with the help of remote. An IR remote switch is divided into two parts namely transmitter and receiver. The IR remote acts as a transmitter that generates a 38 KHz frequency and hence allows IR LED to transmit IR rays at this frequency. At receiver IR rays are sensed by TSOP 1738.
